This block course is going to be taught in the last week of February/first week of March 2025. There are no prerequisites. The main goals of this seminar are for students to engage with current research in the domains of conceptual abstraction and (abstract) concepts, categorization etc. We will look at research from linguistics/cognitive psychology and at computational modeling work. Students will also learn how to read scientific papers efficiently, how to do a peer review constructively and how to communicate and present research results clearly. There will be a reading assignment before the start of the block course that is going to be announced in time.
