Beschreibung
The lecture series aims to introduce students to the degree programme by means of selected topics. Based on current issues in the areas of climate change and environmental protection, sustainability, globality and locality as well as geographies of the future, important geographical basics for understanding the study contents are presented in a compact format. The lecture is held by lecturers from the Institute of Geography and emphasises in particular the interconnections between the social and natural science components for a better understanding of society-environment interactions. Part of the event is a "Science Fair", in which all students present the results of their Bachelor thesis in the form of a poster.
